Local San Pedro Restaurants joined forces to participate in a fundraiser for the victims of Typhoon Haiyan, which has ravaged the Philippines, where many members of our local community have family and friends.
The contributors were:
Big Nick's Pizza,Buono's Authentic Pizzeria, Chowder Barge, Godmothers Saloon,Goodfellas, Happy Diner, J. Trani's Ristorante, Mishi's Strudel Bakery & Cafe, Niko's Pizzeria, Omelette and Waffle Shop, People's Yoga, Health & Dance, Philie B's 6th Street, Rafaelo Ristorante, San Pedro Brewing Co, The Whale & Ale, Trusela's Restaurant.
Also, San Pedro Artist: Ingrid Dietrich-Photographer & The San Pedro Convention & Visitor Bureau donated two 16 x 20 framed photographs to the fundraiser. The images were auctioned this Sunday from 4:00 pm at The Whale & Ale Restaurant. One of the images features the beautiful Battleship IOWA.
The fundraiser, inspired & suggested by Sandy Marchioli of San Pedro’s Godmother’s Saloon, was held on Sunday November 17th at a number of local taverns & restaurants.
All participating establishments from 4p.m. Sunday until close of business donated 20% of their gross receipts to UNICEF.

Congresswoman Janice Hahn joined us on Sunday. She is already working hard on getting Congress to act, and is helping us greatly with much staff time & many network connections.
