Face of the USA Beauty Pageant Recruiting Tour, March-May, 2014

From Ingrid Dietrich:

As the head photographer at Face of The USA, Hollywood-Paris, and Director and Curator of the Arts Department at the San Pedro Convention and Visitors Bureau, I will be combining efforts to bring visitors to town.On March, 6th, 2014, I will be bringing to San Pedro some of the pageants from Face of the USA Beauty Pageant, Hollywood-Paris, 2013/2014.

The girls will be wearing their gowns, sashes, and crowns. I am planning to bring the girls to all galleries and selected businesses (members of the San Pedro Convention and Visitors Bureau), where they will have the chance to be photographed and network for a few minutes.
The purpose: recruiting pageants, drag traffic to the SPCVB, and give exposure to the City of San Pedro in a world wide event.
I will start a recruiting tour, traveling to different cities of Los Angeles, and I want San Pedro to be the first city that the girls will visit.

People from different cities as far as Redlands, California, will be traveling to attend this event.
The images will be shared in Facebook, twitter, website, and magazine. I expect to have a long day of activities and travel with the girls to the Fanfare Fountains, the Vintage Trolley, as well as short photo-shoots at the lobbies of the main hotels of San Pedro such as, The Crown Plaza Hotel, Double Tree Hotel, and Western Hotel (this is great exposure for the city, accommodation venues wise).

I will set a small booth in the facilities of the San Pedro Convention and Visitors Bureau, where staff from the beauty pageants will be handing out information about the contest, and hopefully....signing up the new "FACE OF SAN PEDRO."

Art
PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBITION BY MIGUEL BEJARANO, curated by Ingrid Dietrich.
The same day, I will be opening a photography exhibition at the San Pedro Convention and Visitors Bureau, featuring works by artist Miguel Bejarano. Miguel Bejarano is a fashion photographer who has fallen in love with San Pedro. Miguel has been traveling from Whittier every weekend to photograph beautiful models in different stages, landscapes, and architecture of San Pedro. I think his work will inspire other photographers and artists to use San Pedro as a muse.

Music
Music by Rogue Elephant from Santa Monica, CA.

Great night at the San Pedro Convention and Visitors Bureau.
