EXPERIMENTAL. UNDER-WATER PHOTOGRAPHY

This is very experimental, but it was so much fun! I do not have diving equipment, so I had to stay 8 feet underwater, facing up, and wait for my model to enter the water. Sometimes 30 seconds...sometimes a minute. It is challenging, but that is why I LOVED IT!!!

Reflections

Macro photography of reflections on my eyes. I started working on this project a few months ago, and I"m still trying to master my technique. It is a very challenging process, but I quite enjoy it. I really love reflections, and what can be better than capturing something I am observing at a certain moment of my life. Acquiring the correct composition is crucial, since there is a message I want to express. Lighting plays an important role in this process as well. But I think the most delicate aspect of the process is focusing my lens and staying still. No blinking.
